Meet the Car of Your Dream!
The phenomenally famous Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is currently welcoming the public in Las Vegas and one of the things that really catch attention in this year’s CES seems to be the latest work from a startup company known as the Faraday Future, the FFZERO1 Concept. This is an automobile product like nothing you have ever seen before. And, since it is an electric car, you won’t have to worry about energy waste and harmful emission. But then again, what does this car actually have in store for its buyers, apart from its obvious, futuristic visual styling?
To begin with, it comes with a host of state-of-the-art technologies with the smartphone-integrated steering wheel being one excellent example. If you have somehow managed to get accustomed to using your phone while you are driving, such as using it as a GPS or to make voice calls or whatever purposes you may think of, you will find this car very convenient in that regard. Right from the steering wheel of the vehicle, you will be able to adjust the settings of the entire vehicle remotely, for a start. You can, for instance, customize data visualization and interaction in real time. Heck, as a matter of fact, you can even modify the power output of the car to suit what you want or need!
Faraday Future has also made a very excellent attempt in assuring driver’s comfort. The electric car startup company in question designs the driver’s seat with zero gravity concept from NASA in mind. As a result, the driver will feel as if he was weightless. In case you are wondering what good this does, it significantly reduces the fatigue that a car driver tends to have, especially after driving for quite a while.
According to the Faraday Future, the vehicle will also feature the innovative so-called variable platform architecture (VPA) technology. This technology offers a new type of vehicle battery structures. Thanks to the fact it is placed at the center of the vehicle, it offers an increased integrity. In addition to that, the company claims that it will arrange the VPA into modular strings.
Now, did I mention you could actually adjust the power output of the vehicle? Anyway, out of the box, Faraday Future offers a total power output of more than 1,000 hp. With such a huge power output, you can easily go from 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds. And, if that does not suffice, you can reach a top speed of beyond 200 mph.
Well, it seems a bit unfair not to talk about the exterior of the car, don’t you think? On the outside, the car comes with plenty of lightweight composite and carbon fiber materials. These elements, in turn, result in increased efficiency and minimal drag, which eventually lead to outstanding safety for the driver. The efficiency rate and drag coefficient are even further enhanced by an aerodynamic tunnel that also boosts the vehicle’s top speed as well as redirects cooled air efficiently across the vehicle’s battery and its various surfaces.
On the exterior of the car, you will also be able to notice an integrated tailfin. As you can tell, it is designed for the vehicle’s aerodynamics. With this tailfin, the car obtains directional stability. In addition to that, the tailfin is also used to digitally display the battery level, the name of the driver and the track position (think racecars).
However, there may be one downside to the vehicle. It is designed to be occupied by one and one person only, that is, the driver. That is why if you step into the cabin, you will find one central seat occupying the entire cabin area. But then again, the car is still worth buying, provided you have deep pockets, apparently.
