January 2012 Welcomed by 2 New iPads?
Text by Richie Setiawan
January 2012 will be the day of the 2 new generation iPads.
According to the latest news, Apple will be releasing 2 versions of the next generation iPad on January 26, 2012, at the iWorld. This news may be quite trustworthy as it comes from the mouths of Apple’s component supply partners for the tablet computer.
It is said that the upcoming latest generation iPad devices will feature a QXGA 9.7” display with a maximum resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. A dual-LED light bar will also be implemented on the device to increase display brightness.
For these latest generation tablets, Apple is mainly counting on Sharp to supply the display panel. Samsung, in comparison, will be the main supplier for the tablet’s A6 quad-core CPU. In addition to that, one of the new iPad devices will feature a 5MP camera and in this case, Samsung will be providing the CMOS image sensor. Yet, for the other version of the slate which features an 8MP camera, Sony gets the share from Apple.
Last but not least, the next generation iPad devices are said to feature 14,000mAh batteries and these batteries will be made by the Dynapack International Technology and Simplo Technology.
