Celluon Laser Keyboard/Mouse in a Magical Mini Cube
Text by Richie Setiawan

There may be times when available spaces turn out to be quite limited. When this happens to a computer user, they may not feel comfortable using their computer input devices such as the mouse or keyboard because they may not be properly placed due to the lack of spaces. Fortunately, there is now the Celluon laser keyboard and mouse to help computer users cope with such a problem.

Magic Cube is the device that transmits the laser keyboard. Using a laser beam, this device is able to project a full size keyboard that computer users can connect to multiple kinds of devices including desktop PCs, laptops, Macs, Blackberry handheld devices, Nokia handheld devices with Symbian OS, PDAs and tablet PCs.

The laser keyboard from Celluon can also interpret as well as record a user’s keystrokes by learning and keeping track of the user’s finger movements on it. This is pretty ideal for sending e-mails, typing documents and such if the users have to go somewhere else to take care of some other things. In addition to that, although the keyboard is really just a laser projection, it can generate a clicking sound each time a key is pressed.

Another good thing about the Celluon laser keyboard is that the users can manually adjust the intensity and the sensitivity of the laser. Then, there is the timeout feature which is meant to help save battery life. Users can even define prescribed parameters and the virtual keyboard will perform repeating keystrokes based on these parameters.

The Celluon laser keyboard generated by the Magic Cube is easy to use. All that the users will have to do is simply to connect the Magic Cube to the appropriate port on the corresponding device.

Besides the laser keyboard, there is also the laser mouse. Celluon introduces the EvoMouse, a virtual mouse that is a perfect companion for the Celluon virtual keyboard. In order to operate the EvoMouse, users will have to use their finger as the pointer for the mouse. Of course, this is a whole new experience in the computing world but it is quite a comfortable one.

Like the Magic Cube, the EvoMouse generate a virtual mouse by means of a laser projection as well. With that being said, this virtual mouse can be used on any surfaces that are flat. With this laser mouse, users can carry out basic to advanced operations such as controlling the mouse cursor, clicking, right clicking, double clicking and dragging items and the best thing is that they can do all these with simple hand gestures.

In addition to that, the EvoMouse even supports multi-touch operations such as zooming in or out, scrolling and navigating forwards and backwards. For an even more advanced function, this laser mouse can recognize the users’ handwriting with the help of either a pen or a finger.

The EvoMouse comes in the form of a small device that looks like a dog and it can easily be connected to a USB port or via Bluetooth connection. To top it off, because there is not really any physical mouse, it can reduce Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which is an injury that is usually caused by the repetitive pushing of a physical mouse.

With all being said, the Celluon laser keyboard and mouse are certainly worth considering. Besides they help save a considerable amount of spaces, Celluon also provides support 24 hours a day in the event the users come across anything they feel unfamiliar with.
