How to Act Cool in Front of a Girl

So, you are thinking about being cool in front of a girl? Well, before you give your shot at it, there is one thing that you will have to keep in your mind. Not every single girl you can possibly meet out there is into a guy that keeps on trying to be cool in front of her. As a matter of fact, there are even some girls that will least likely talk to such a guy, if at all. So, if you are planning to act cool, you had better have some good reasons to do so. However, if you persist, here are a few things you can try to act cool and, hopefully, interest the girl you are after.
First, Do They Feel Special?
Whether they do or not, the first task you have is to make them feel so. Remember that girls will usually like you if you are straightforward. However, do not be creepy. Being creepy will make you look unmanly, not charming or cool, weird and even cheesy. There are hardly any girls that prefer such a guy as they will feel repulsed, repelled or bothered instead of interested to you.
In addition to that, always remember that honesty is a good thing. Yet, you may have to use some sorts of compliment. For example, if you like her smile and want to express it to her, you will be better off saying, “Did anybody ever mention you have a pretty smile?”
Also, when you happen to come across a girl in the hallway, do not keep on looking at her for a long time. If you then find out that she smiles at you and looks at your eyes followed by looking at your feet, you can be sure enough that you have successfully accomplished the first step in your attempts to attract her.
Watch Your Eyes
It is an inevitable fact that girls will usually like it when you keep on looking at them. This makes them feel confident. However, you should know which part of the girls’ body you are looking at. Look at the wrong part and you may lose your chance for good when it comes to getting around the girl you like.
Nonetheless, there are times when you may meet some girls who will indeed prefer that you look at their sensitive body parts. These girls like it simply because it makes them feel sexy and they like that kind of attention.
However, if you are looking at a girl and your eyes turn out to be looking at some sensitive body parts of that girl, you should pay attention to how the girl reacts. If she responds by crossing her arms, you should look away immediately and say something good about her other body parts such as her eyes. Always keep in mind that discretion and eye contact play a crucial role here.
Smile
If you like a girl and you want her to know about it, you can try to attract her attention by smiling at her in a special way. You should smile at her differently than you would your other friends. You can give her a friendly, clear smile. Or, by chance, you may even smile at her playfully. However, you should only do this to her as this will make her feel somehow special, beautiful and she will know you admire her. Girls like it.
Ladies First
When you are talking to her, always let her talk before you whenever both of you happen to say something at the same time. This will make her notice that she is important to you and you may be increasing your chances of getting her in the end.
Be Yourself
Some guys out there tend to try being a person whose characteristics are entirely different than theirs. This is something you should not follow at all. Even if you think you are not a humorous person at all, that’s fine. Just be yourself. If you try to be someone you are not and turn out to be somehow goofy, you will look like a fool. I bet you won’t want to end up that way.
Be Funny – in a Good Way
Most girls prefer to be around a guy that knows how to make them laugh. As it turns out, girls are more concerned about this than about how you look. You may be handsome but if you can’t make a girl you like laugh, your chances may not be so good to get around that girl. That said, girls will overlook how you look as long as you are funny. Yet, remember not to be ridiculous.
What Are You Talking About?
If she and you are having a chat, you need to talk about something else if you find her uncomfortable with the current topic. You can tell when a girl is uncomfortable if she shifts her weight quite so often and that she is not looking at your eyes.
Physical Contact
This is something you will have to try. Yet, it is only possible when she and you have known each other well enough. At that time, you can try to poke her playfully in the side. Watch how she reacts. If she smiles, which may well indicate she is ticklish, chances are you can do that again. However, if she does not like it, don’t hesitate to apologize and never do the same mistake again.
Hugs
Believe it or not, hugs are wonderful. When you are about to part with her, use your arms to hug her waist and then pull her towards you. Hold on that way for one or two seconds. Then, you can release her staring into her beautiful eyes and smiling at her.
Hugs that Girls Like
Most girls will like it when you let them hug either your chest or waist and, at the same time, you wrap one or both of your arms around her shoulders. This gives an impression as if you are giving them a protective shield. Most girls also like it if you hug their shoulders with your arm when you are having a walk with them.
Teasing?
A little teasing is normally fine. Only, never tease the girl you like about how she looks. Instead, try teasing her about her feet or other body parts that are not so sensitive.
Whisper
Say things to her as if those things are secrets by whispering in the ears of the girl you like.
Do You See Another Cute Girl? So What?
Never – remember, never – tell a girl you like about how you like the look of another girl whom you think seems to be cute. Not only this will make her mad but it may also keep you away from your dream girl for quite a reasonable amount of time.
The Past Is The Past
If the girl you like was attached to someone else in the past and you don’t really like the fact, you will be better off not complaining about such things. Of course, this is only if you are really serious with her.
Behave
Behaving is something you should never take for granted especially in front of your dream girl. Use violent words, cough, burp or even sneeze opening your mouth widely and you’ll be the luckiest person I know in this world if she is willing to hang out with you again.
Chivalry
Although some may say that it is dead, chivalry is what will help you get a girl’s attention more easily. Be gentle and you may have no problems persuading your dream girl to hang out with you.
At this point of time, you have already known enough to prepare yourself to go after the dream girl of your life. But wait, have you? Well, it seems like you need to know a few other things such as not to try overdoing those tips provided above. Remember, do not force yourself doing all those tips above as she will find out about it.
Also, just in case you happen to embarrass yourself, don’t freak out. Whether you know it or not, there are not few girls out there that consider this to be cute. Then, if she hits you, don’t get mad. Most of the time, girls will apologize for doing so and when your dream girl does, smile to her and let her know that you are fine with it. This will wipe out her guilt for having hit you and will love to hang out with you even more. Believe it or not, it works!
In addition to that, don’t try to get all over her as this will most likely annoy her. With that being said, if she asks you to back away, you need to back away. Under such a circumstance, all the tips above may not help you so well. Also, don’t try to get all of her attention as you may seem weird. Instead, get around her friends as that will make you look friendly as well as nice.
Lastly, as long as you can, do not hesitate in front of the girl you like. Well, unless she hesitates as well. When you feel depressed, don’t show it. Don’t even look as if you are about to drop some tears off your eyes. This will give an impression as if you are a weak guy and no girls are likely to be willing to hang out with such a guy.
