Track’ster Concept From Kia Heading to Chicago
This is the concept hatchback that Kia is bringing along to the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
The 2012 Chicago Auto Show is just around the corner but it seems that the South Korean car manufacturer can’t wait to tease us with this teaser sketch of the Track’ster Concept. The concept is based on Kia Soul but features 3 doors, a new back end and also a lower roofline. It seems that the Kia Track’ster Concept will also reveal the design language Kia is very likely to use for its future cars such as the K3 and K9.
In terms of engine and performance, Kia has yet to make any official announcement. However, considering that the Track’ster Concept is a hothatch, a GDI Gamma Turbo engine used by the Hyundai Veloster Turbo is quite likely to make its way under the hood of this car. Thus, combined with a manual transmission, a power of 200 hp is not impossible to achieve.
