Samsung has done it again! This time, the Korean manufacturer comes with a model they call Omnia II. This is a new model Windows phone that comes with various features and advantages to offer the mobile users in this world. Therefore, the phone is worth considering.

The Samsung Omnia II comes with either Windows Mobile 6.1 or Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system to serve the user. Needless to say, with this operating system, the phone is able to offer features that can usually be found on a smart phone device. The new model Samsung has manufactured comes equipped with various equipments that the global customers often look for as well.

To start it off, the model comes with a digital camera that has a resolution quality of up to 5.0 Megapixels and auto focus is of course an available option. The user will also be entertained with the camera’s face detection function that will automatically capture the face. Yet, there are also various shooting modes available which are single, continuous, smile, mosaic, panorama and action shooting modes.

Still speaking of the camera alone, the user will also be able to adjust the color effects. The same goes for the resolution of the picture to be shot. Also, video recording capability is something the user may well expect. This new phone model from Samsung offers quite a brilliant video recording capability. And, to make things look better, there is an anti shake feature attached to the model.

When it comes to connectivity, this model comes equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity capability. With its Wi-Fi, the model is able to allow the user go online when there is a Wi-Fi network available. Then, with its Bluetooth, the model can be used to connect to a wide variety of digital devices that may include laptops, other phones, headsets and still a lot more to mention. Yet, for the purpose of synchronizing the model with a computer, the USB comes in very handy.

This model is a touch screen phone model. It has a wide screen measuring 3.7 inches diagonally and the screen can be touched either by hands or by the stylus pen that Samsung has provided with the model. Yet, even though it comes with a touch screen input panel, the user will be able to use the model quite conveniently, even to send and receive text message. This is possible thanks to the virtual keyboard provided with the model.

One main feature that Samsung Omnia II has come with is the accelerometer. With this accelerometer, the user will be able to enjoy the auto rotate function. When the user turns his or her phone counter clockwise, the accelerometer will rotate the display on the screen automatically. This is a lot of fun when it comes to playing games especially.

The Omnia II is also capable of multitasking. With that being said, the user will absolutely be able to listen to MP3 while working with Microsoft Office, sending/receiving messages, playing games, etc. at the same time. Microsoft Office is also an available feature with this particular model. Yet, besides MP3, the user can as well expect to watch MP4 videos with it. And to give the user even a whole lot better entertaining experience, this Windows phone model comes with a great surround speaker that supports SRS HD or SRS WoW technology.

Still, in terms of entertainment, this Windows phone model comes with several games that support accelerometer and touch screen. There are dice, crayon physics, solitaire and the one that may prove to be the most entertaining may be the Asphalt 4 HD Elite Racing which may well catch the user’s attention completely. Of course, the user will not have to worry about the model’s support for Java.

Yet, featuring the touch screen, Samsung has attached Samsung TouchWiz UI to this model. This is a technology that Samsung attaches to most of its new touch screen phone models. However, there may also be some drawbacks. There are times when the phone may lag. For example, when the battery is in a pretty low state, the model’s performance may degrade. Or, the lag may also occur when the memory is almost used up. Yet, chances are if the user upgrades the memory capacity, they may overcome this problem. And the good news is that this Samsung Omnia II comes with a 128MB internal memory and 8GB storage capacity. And, better yet, a microSDHC of up to 32 GB will not be a problem for the amazing Omnia II.
