VW Up Fits 16 People Despite Small

Up, VW’s recently launched hatchback, is designed ideally for 4 people. However, 16 people actually fit in the car!

To be honest, Volkswagen has designed the Up to be its smallest car. However, despite the small size, the car made by the German car manufacturer proves to fit 16 people inside it altogether. This is actually quite a surprise considering the car’s length that is only 3.54 meters and the width that is not more than 1.64 meters. Yet, to this man and 15 women, the word ‘claustrophobic’ doesn’t seem to exist and they all fit into the hatchback indeed. Unfortunately, though, they have not broken the current record of the Guinness World Records in which a car is used to fit 20 people altogether.

It may come across your mind that these 16 people would have had to put their limbs out of the windows. But one thing’s for sure, you’re completely wrong. All doors and windows were shut tightly. However, these 16 people did mention that they felt uncomfortable. Well, it seems that comfort won’t be something they can expect while 1 of them had to be on the dashboard while 4 others had to sit together at the front seats, 7 at the rear seats, 2 on the footrest and 2 others had to get into the trunk.
